Music: Mica Paris – The Best of Mica Paris

Mica Paris started singing in church when she was seven, and became a session singer when she was fifteen, doing backing vocals for bands like Hollywood Beyond and Shakatak. Widely regarded by critics as the British Aretha Franklin, Mica Paris is a soul sensation. She was quickly signed as a solo artist to Island Records, & released the hit, My One Temptation. Her debut album, So Good, went platinum in the UK & met with critical acclaim around the world. A voice in great demand, Mica worked with the best in the music industry including Nile Rogers, Prince & Bobby Womack.
Included in the best of is the original version of You Put A Move On My Heart which was later covered by Tamia & Qunicy Jones. The only thing is about this release is some of singles which were release here in the U.S. are not included; such as Contribution, South of the River, If I Luv U 2nite and I Wanna Hold On To You.
