Buffie The BODY Is Now Buffie the BRAINS? Buffie Curruth has successfully crossed over to the big screen and landed her debut starring role in an upcoming motion picture about college life directed by Actor/Filmmaker Tyrone McFarlin.

Hollywood, California May 3, 2006 --- Here you go guys and gals, music video superstar Buffie the Body is now an actress! Buffie "the body" Curruth is absolutely a head turner for both men and women. This time she'll be turning the pages of a book playing the role as a college student. This movie will showcase not only her striking physical features, but her quick wit, intelligence and determination. After turning down countless small independent films, this is the opportunity she's been waiting for.

Buffie the Body (mostly known from rap superstar Tony Yayo's "So Seductive" video featuring 50 cent and for her appearances on BET, UPN,VIBE awards, also gracing the covers of King, and XXL Magazine) will now be acting in a blockbuster movie directed by Tyrone McFarlin. How did this all happen?

It all started with Carruth checking her email one day and reading about an upcoming nationwide casting call held in Atlanta, Georgia by actor/filmmaker Tyrone McFarlin. (popular website promotion expert and the man behind many famous actors, athletes, singers, and rappers)

With no experience in acting whatsoever Buffie was determined to make contact with filmmaker Tyrone McFarlin. After a few days of pressing the dials on her phone she managed to reach Tyrone McFarlin himself. When Tyrone McFarlin picked up the phone she said: "Hi this is Buffie". " To be honest, I was like who? I never heard of a Buffie the Body", says Tyrone McFarlin, "she was surprised I didn't know her, I was surprised she didn't know me." "After we laughed about it, we got down to business. I'm glad I met her and I'll do what I can to help her make it to the peak of her acting and modeling career."

The movie stars Reynaldo Rey (B.E.T.'s "Comic View , "Friday," "House Party 3," " White Men Can't Jump," "A Rage in Harlem," and "Harlem Nights") Ken Ivy (a.k.a Pimpin Ken) (Featured on albums such as Jermaine Dupri, Too Short, Pimp C, Juvenile, 50 Cent, Lil Jon, Lil Flip, Outcast, E40, Nelly, Loon, Lil Scrappy, Bone Crusher, Pastor Troy, Trillville, and many others) superstar track olympic gold medallist Latasha Colander, Brandon Deshazor, Derrall Jackson, Roosevelt Martin, Alesyah Flores and Tyrone McFarlin.

The movie is a drama/comedy about Tyrone McFarlin that decided to make a difference by departing from the dangerous street life and going to college to major in business and music. With the help and guidance of his brother Ken Ivy (a.k.a Pimpin Ken) Tyrone encounters responsibility, and the meaning of having an education on a university campus in Atlanta, Georgia. With youngsters from different countries, races, and social backgrounds he has problems such as financial, self doubt and his purpose in life. Unfortunately, just seven days before graduation, a jealous friend frames Tyrone of committing a felony. Now it's up to Tyrone to prove that he's innocent or else his new life will be the life of a prisoner.

The producers of the movie "TYRONE" is currently searching for Actors, Models, Singers, Rappers, Comedians, Dancers and Poets to play starring and recurring roles as students, college professors, fraternity/sorority members, Dorm mates, football players, and basketball players in the film and in the upcoming 26 episode television series.
